Heike Drechsler is a German track and field athlete who specialized in the long jump and sprint events. She won two Olympic gold medals in the long jump, in 1992 and 2000, and set numerous world records in the event. Drechsler also excelled in the sprints, winning multiple European and World Championship titles. Her versatility and longevity in the sport have made her one of the most successful female track and field athletes of all time.
