Dawn Fraser is an Australian swimmer and one of the most successful female Olympians in history. She won eight Olympic medals, including four golds, and was the first woman to win the same Olympic event (100 meters freestyle) three times consecutively. Her contributions to swimming and her outspoken nature have made her an iconic figure in Australian sports.
