Monica Seles is a retired Yugoslav and American tennis player who was one of the top players of the early 1990s. She won nine Grand Slam singles titles, including four Australian Open championships. Seles was known for her powerful two-handed strokes and aggressive baseline play. Her career was tragically interrupted by a stabbing incident in 1993, but she made a remarkable comeback to win more titles. Seles’s resilience and talent have made her a memorable figure in tennis history.
