Gail Devers is an American track and field athlete known for her success in the 100 meters and 100 meters hurdles. She won three Olympic gold medals, including two in the 100 meters at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. Devers’ career was remarkable not only for her speed and agility but also for her perseverance in overcoming Graves’ disease, which nearly ended her career. Her resilience and determination have made her an inspiration in the world of athletics.
