Overview
Nastia Liukin is a retired American gymnast who won the all-around gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She also won four other Olympic medals, including silver on the uneven bars and balance beam. Liukin’s performances were characterized by their elegance, grace, and high level of difficulty. Her success at the Olympics and World Championships has made her one of the most celebrated American gymnasts. Liukin has continued to contribute to gymnastics as a coach and commentator.
