Overview


Luciana Aymar, known as “La Maga,” is an Argentine field hockey player widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the sport’s history. She led Argentina’s national team, Las Leonas, to numerous victories, including two World Cup titles (2002, 2010) and four Olympic medals. Aymar was named the FIH World Player of the Year eight times, a record in the sport. Her skill, vision, and leadership made her an icon in field hockey.
