Martina Navratilova is a retired Czech-American tennis player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest female players in history. She won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and a record 31 major doubles titles. Navratilova was known for her powerful serve-and-volley game and her incredible longevity in the sport. She was a trailblazer for LGBTQ+ athletes, coming out as bisexual in the 1980s. Navratilova’s contributions to tennis and her advocacy for social issues have made her a legendary figure in sports.
